The Helena Kennedy Foundation (HKF) and the National Council of Faiths and Beliefs in Further Education (fbfe)
These two organisations are long established, small, independent national charities working in the Further Education sector where each is recognised as providing unique services for the sector’s students.
Public sector funding will be reduced during the period 2010-2013 and both organisations are implementing planned diversification of income strategies to address this.
The two charities have a shared need to secure funds from charitable trusts to cover their administrative and running costs over the coming years.
It is envisaged that the consultancy will undertake the following activities:
The charities anticipate investing £10,000 between them into this activity.
Precise terms and conditions of the consultancy will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Accountability for the consultancy will be to fbfe Council & HKF Board of Trustees through the Chief Executive of each charity
