10.30 am - Haras Rafiq, Sufi Muslim Council, "Preventing Extremism in FE and HE institutions"

11.00 am - Asgar Halim Rajput, Muslim Chaplain – Brunel University and West and East Midlands Regional Development Officer, National Council of Faiths and Beliefs in Further Education fbfe. "A Holistic Approach for Muslim students: Guidance, support, communication, vulnerability, and cultural sensitivity."

11.30 am Dr. Rama Sarma Karri, Hindu Chaplain, Birmingham University – "Sharing Best Practice in Inter Faith Dialogue from a Hindu perspective: A Birmingham Case Study."

12.00 pm – Questions and Answers

12.30 pm – Lunch

1.30 pm Workshops 1 and 2

  1. Tools for Facilitating Dialogue in student communities
  2. Identifying current problems and future problems in inter faith dialogue on campus, and suggested solutions to these problems.

3.00 pm - Report back to whole group. Ideas put on flip chart.

3.30 pm – Coffee and Evaluation forms

4.00 pm - Depart
